At my office, our staff understands the stress associated with an appointment.  You are nervous and anxious about the pending procedure. We know.

That is why my staff and I will make every effort to ensure that your appointment is smooth and as short as possible. From the moment you enter my office you will find my staff friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help.

I will make ever effort to remain on schedule.  We do not double or triple book patients because we respect your time.  I will spend as much time as needed to explain in clear non-medical terms your diagnosis and/or needed treatment.  My staff is also well versed in the techniques and outcomes.  They are available to you during and after your visit for any questions or clarification that you may need.

If you will be using insurance for your appointment we will gladly verify your benefits ahead of your initial consult. This will minimize your waiting time during the appointment because hold times for insurance companies can exceed an hour.

In my office there are no hidden fees.  Before any procedure is performed you will be notified by our financial coordinator of the cost with a legible breakdown of the fees.  However, when dealing with insurance companies, we must rely on the automated system in place by the company.  The ultimate cost associated with a procedure can only be finalized after the estimate of benefits (EOB) is issued by the insurance company. The EOB is issued after a claim is submitted, in other words after the procedure is completed. This means your quoted cost may differ once the claim is processed by your insurance company. Differences most frequently occur when the automated system supplies wrong information.  The other most common cause for a difference is when the patient received treatment from another provider immediately before my care or shortly after.  This causes an overlap in claims and the final discrepancy from the initial quote. We can offer a pre-determination which will give a specific cost that is good the day the insurance company processes the request but does not take into consideration any processing claims or future claims. This will be reviewed at your appointment.  A list of insurance companies for which we are providers are listed here. If your insurance company is not listed we can always submit your claim as “out of network” if needed.
